As widely expected, Microsoft makes Windows 10 build 9860 accessible for download to users which may have installed the Technical Preview of the company's upcoming operating-system.
After some early releases and late teases, this new version is now grabbed.
And it brings several improvements with regards to usability and gui — approximately 7,000 new enhancements based on Redmond, but a majority of of these are under the hood. Still, you could expect a lot more polish compared to the debut flavor on the Technical Preview.
According to Microsoft, these new changes use user feedback:
“Most with the changes in this build will likely be invisible for you, but we’ve made nearly 7,000 improvements and fixes for the product between 9841 and 9860. Many of those fixes were dependant on problem reports that you just submitted in the Community forum or with the Windows Feedback app. Thanks!”
The download could take quite some time, though.
This new build clocks in at 2GB to 2.74GB according to your processor platform, if you have a slow Internet, expect you'll spend considerable time on download along with the overall create process.
Speaking which, a different “Installing your apps” screen is likewise displayed after installation.
But this new flavor is here now, plus it brings a variety of improvements to the people that deployed the primary preview version. Let’s just hope Microsoft sticks to some monthly update cycle for Windows 10 Technical Preview, moving forward.
